On 21st June, Betso Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Turkye Diyanet Foundation, organized a remarkable children’s party in Jimeta, the capital city of Adamawa State. This vibrant event brought together over 300 children from the local community, including Almajiri Children from various schools in Jimeta and Yola.
The event was filled with joy, love, and laughter, featuring a variety of fun activities such as dancing competitions, balloon catch, chair dance, and numerous games that kept the children entertained. The Executive Director of Betso Charity Foundation emphasized the importance of inclusivity and bridging societal gaps, ensuring that all children, regardless of their background, felt valued and equal.
A delicious serving of Nigerian jollof rice and juice ensured no child went home hungry. Gifts, goodies, and cash prizes were distributed to participants, adding to the excitement and joy of the day.
More than just a day of entertainment, the event fostered friendships, joy, and community spirit, while raising awareness about the foundation’s mission.
